Tattoo Mistake #7: Improper Placement...

While many people think about design, an area they often neglect is thinking where they want this tattoo. 

There are several factors to be considered: social, aesthetic, and professional.   For some people, anything covered by a business suit is kosher. Depending on your career and social life, you may want to consider tattoos that are covered by casual clothes: this rules out the lower arms, calves and feet. 

Remember, your body is a part of how you express yourself to others. 

What may be impressive in your social set may not sit equally well with a boss at a job interview, or a client you're hoping to snag. 

This is why most people, and especially novices, avoid getting tattoos, whatever their content, on their hands, neck, or head and face. 

These are areas you cannot easily cover up, and no matter how individual you may be, there will be situations where you don't want to expose that ink.
